Step 1 - Inspection and cleaning
After buying a stairlift, we will start with inspection. We will inspect every part of the stairlift, inside and out, to check for any damaged parts or casings, which will be replaced if needed. We will also replace the batteries at this stage, as we always install new batteries in to a reconditioned stairlift. We will also pefrom a deep clean on the stairlift, using disinfectant sprays to bring the stairlift back to near new condition. We will also clean all of the rollers in the stairlift. The rail is also cleaned at this stage.
Step 2 - Testing
After inspecting and replacing any parts, we will then test the stairlift. We do this by installing the stairlift to a temporary set-up and using the stairlift multiple times to ensure safety. We will test all parts of the stairlift, include drive mechanism, arm controlls, swivel and all safety features.
Step 3 - Cutting the rail
After measuring a customers staircase, we will then cut the rail to specification, making sure the charge points and final limits are installed correctly. we will then test the circuit before we get to the customers house for installation.
Step 4 - Installation
We are now ready to installed your reconditioned stairlift. At this point we are 100% confident in the stairlift, but will still take our time to re-test the stairlift on site, to give everyone that piece of mind. We also give a free 12-month warranty with all of our stairlifts, as we are confindent in our stairlifts.
