How quickly can you fit a stairlift?
Straight staircase, stocked reconditioned lift: usually the next working day for genuine urgency (hospital discharge, post-op return). Standard installs typically 3–7 days from survey. Curved lifts need 2–4 weeks for the custom rail.
Are salt air and coastal damp a problem for stairlifts?

What if my staircase has a turn?
A quarter-turn at the bottom of otherwise-straight stairs (common in older Seaforth terraces) can often be solved with a hinged rail on a straight lift — much cheaper than a full curved lift. Chris will tell you honestly on the survey.
Do you service stairlifts you did not install?
Yes — subject to diary space. Our own installation customers always come first, but we take on Acorn straight-lift servicing and Stannah 260 battery checks locally.
